Die ersten Töne erklingen und schon wird dir klar, dass bereits nach 66,6 Sekunden kein cm2 deines Outfits mehr trocken sein wird. Du befindest dich auf der high-volume-high-energy Punkrockshow von SUCK und dir werden nonstop erbarmungslos fuzzüberladene downstroke-Riffs und ein unwiderstehliches, dem Wahnsinn verfallend schepperndes Schlagzeug um die Löffel geschmettert. Die Vocals on top fetzen so verführerisch fies, dass sie dich dazu anstiften könnten die Hölle in Brand zu setzen. SUCK ist schnell, laut, hart und raffiniert.

Imagine the Beach Boys having weird, dirty, sweaty sex with Sonic Youth and their baby turns out to be an angry punk that doesn‘t give a fuck about the dos and don’ts of how to behave as a band. Johnny & the Rotten are a breath of fresh air to the yet oddly diverse and gifed music scene of Linz, Austria and probably the rest of the world. Expect the unexpected at each one of their shows but most importantly expect to be blown away by a noisy wall of sound and an overly energetic show that makes you wonder how only three dudes manage to deliver all of that.

2019 in Ebensee mit Jams und Coversongs angefangen, jedoch mit stetig wachsendem Repertoire, entwickelt sich der Stil der Band fortlaufend, hält aber an den Idolen der 70er und darüber hinaus fest. Bands wie Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, aber auch Ween und Clutch dienen als Inspiration für die fünf leidenschaftlichen Musiker.
