With a world in ruins, there comes a new sun. This is the evolution which “TAL” is all about. Intense and relentless, “TAL” is an immersive experience through sonic landscapes and contrasting atmospheres. On its third full length, GLARE OF THE SUN combine orchestral layers with heavy guitars and vocals, creating an emotional listening experience with lots of dynamics and details to discover.

Describing themselves as “Blackened Whatever” they mix Black Metal elements with Sludge, Hardcore, Doom and Post-Metal to create a dark and sinister atmosphere, haunting its listeners and keeping them hostage in a menacing wall of sound.

It’s not unusual for musical endeavors to arise from a deep-rooted sense of guilt and the inevitable need for creative minds to make amends. A mantra-like self-castigation, whereby forgiveness and inner peace are gradually found through the constant repetition of music and lyrics. A description that’s tailor-made for Salzburg’s post-metal act SVNTARER (Old German for ‘sinner’). Founded in late 2019 by guitarist/singer/songwriter Marko Kolac and drummer Sebastian Hübner (CRXXPY KIDS), the duo, in cooperation with session musicians, has since played a fair number of live shows. In February 2022, they self-released their debut album The Ardent Weight of Thoughts, which was produced by Georg Traschwandtner (KARG).
