The Underground Youth (UK)

The Underground Youth bringen eine introspektive Mixtur aus Post-Punk, Goth-Rock, Dreampsych und Shoegaze auf die Bühne, die sich irgendwo im Kosmos von Nick Cave’s Birthday Party, The Jesus & The Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre und Velvet Underground bewegt.

Vor über 10 Jahre benennt Craig Dyer sein kreatives Projekt „The Underground Youth“ und beginnt, seine psychedelischen Lo-Fi-Aufnahmen kostenlos online zu stellen. Nach vielen erfolgreichen Veröffentlichungen, entwickelt sich schnell eine treue Fangemeinde, die nie aufhörte zu wachsen.

Das wird dann schon augenscheinlich wenn man die bald 7 Millionen Views  auf einem Upload des Kultalbums „Mademoiselle“ mit niedrig aufgelöster Grafik auf Youtube sieht.  

Seit der Unterzeichnung bei Fuzz Club Records hat die Band drei weitere LPs veröffentlicht. Es folgten unendliche Tourneen durch Europa und den Rest der Welt. So richtig Underground sind „The Underground Youth“ nur noch was ihren Sound angeht: lärmende Klangwände, raue Energie und eingängige Melodien sorgen für ein eigenwilliges Gebräu der aufregendsten Sorte.

Das neue Album "The Faling" erscheint am 12. März 2021. 

Kill Your Boyfriend ist ein Psych/Post-Punk/Dark Wave/Industrial Duo aus Venedig. Sie haben 2 Alben auf Shyrec veröffentlicht, ihre Single „Elizabeth“ erschien kürzlich als limitierte 7“ beim Londoner Label Depths Records.

Die Band ist in den letzten Jahren großflächig durch Europa, die UK und Russland getourt und spielte dabei unter anderem mit den Preoccupations, The KVB, ZU, Zola Jesus und Cicil Civic.

Das neue Album „Killadelica“ ist im November 2020 erschienen.
