DVNE is a 5-piece progressive rock/metal band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 2013, the band was then called Dune in reference to Frank Herbert’s masterpiece of the same name; a statement of the band’s mutual obsession for Sci-fi and fantasy of all forms, the inspiration of which has continued to influence their music to this day. With highly dynamic compositions venturing from delicate and intricate melodies to crushing and brutal soundscapes, Dvne’s music takes its listeners through a deeply emotional journey filled with dystopian thematics, grand narrative, and other-worldly landscapes. Since Asheran’s release, Dvne has toured all over the UK, Europe and North America and appeared at prestigious festivals such as Psycho Las Vegas, Desertfest London and Inferno Festival Norway to name a few. Dvne will be releasing their sophomore album Etemen Ænka via Metal Blade Record on March 19th and have just released a first single for it, SI-XIV alongside its music video.

Mit dem Drang, einen vielseitigen Sound, der sich in seiner musikalischen Bandbreite stets erweitert, zu kreieren, liefern Monosphere 2023 das breiteste Spektrum, das die Band bisher offenbart hat. Zwischen technischem Progressive Metal und atmosphärischem Post-Metal sind es Elemente des Jazz, neoklassischer Klaviermusik, elektronische Elemente und bedrückendes Sounddesign, sowie Einflüsse aus dem Black Metal, Mathcore und Deathcore die den Sound der Band einzigartig werden lassen.

Naire ist eine Blackend Atmospheric Slugde/Crust Band mit schnellen treibenden Riffs im Wechselspiel mit langsamen, schwerfälligen Parts, düsteren Melodien und bedrückendem Gesang. Einflüsse kommen dabei von Bands wie u.a.: Amenra, Behemoth, Cult of Luna, Conjurer, King Apathy und Svalbard.
