Coltaine is the keyword to an adventure in sound. Formed in 2022 in the mystic atmosphere of the Black Forest, Germany, Coltaine transport their intuitive creations into unusually exciting and diverse microcosms of dark, atmospheric psychedelia whose feeling is that of foggy, post metal-tinged acid rock with the sombre hues of blackgaze. Their newest offering ”Forgo en Ways” gives the listener immediate access to an unreal world where the endlessness of life and death come alive within songs that blend complete obscurity with the hopeful lights of pure spiritual energy. With a personal sound that defies all categorizations, Coltaine are ready to embark on a quest across the deep, misty realms of their own musical craft.

Blackened Post/Doom

With a shared preference for Sumac, Cult Of Luna, Amenra, Briqueville and bands alike, the band members of Ter Ziele decide to join forces in the fall of 2020. Having great affinity for post- and black metal, they scan the existing borders of the doom genre, thus giving it their own spin to it through burdensome riffs, crushing drums and eerie vocals. The lyrical focus is on the greater philosophical, scientific and esoteric questions such as the obstacles of the psyche and the wistful prospects for mankind. With shows at Roadburn Offroad, Into The Void and Soulcrusher Festival among others and as a supporting act for Dopelord and Pothamus, Ter Ziele has made a promising start, leaving an early mark on the Dutch metal scene. As a runner up the band released two singles in the first quarter of 2022. Behind the curtains a full-length record is in the making, planned to be released in 2024.

Florian Wagner (vocals, guitar), Alexander Augustin (bass) and Hannes Lettner (drums) released their self-titled debut in May 2020. This euphoric-melancholic concept album tells a story about human mistakes and love. Norbert Leitner (also Krimh, among others) produced the ambitious project. Soon, the release of a live studio session followed in May 2021. In 2023, it was time to present the new LP. "Meander" is the second installment, which continues the bands journey through dreams and reality. Going “all in”, a courageous mixture of one-track and concept album was offered. Reviewers were enthusiastic once again. They had the chance to present their latest album supporting legends like “Yawning Man” and “Hexvessel”. With the support of the new band member Reinhard Farnberger (synths, backing vocals) their third album is on the way.
